Handicaps
Anyone can play. I don’t care what your Fargorate is…. I don’t care what your APA skill level is….I don’t even care what your mom thinks. Either play or don’t
Sportsmanship
Zero tolerance for poor sportsmanship. No sharking, bitching, complaining about handicaps. If you slam a stick on the table or knock balls off the table, you will be DQ’d. Do not walk around the table while your opponent is shooting. Stay in one spot. Do not talk to your opponent while shooting. If you say “good game” before they shoot the 9 ball, the game is conceded. If you don’t like it, don’t play. Go complain on facebook.
Chip Count + Eliminations
Everyone will start with 10 Chips, but if we have over 32 players, I may alter the number of chips to speed the play along
If your opponent does a break and run, you have a chance to break and run. If you break and run, your opponent does not receive a loss, but you play a 3rd game sudden death.
Format & Schedule
This tournament is about efficiency and speed. Speed is the #1 rule! It overrules everything else. If a match can be played, play it. Players should be playing.
Round 1 - Play 1 game, then next opponent
Round 2 - Play 1 game, then rotate. All of the players who were rotating in Round 1 are now grouped together to play each other, while the players stationary on tables from Round 1 will all play each other.
Players Meeting - 3:45PM (Not 3:50, Not 4:00PM).
Break & Run Pot
If you prepay, you can buy raffle tickets that are eligible for $500/ball if your ticket is pulled. Now because I’m transparent, it’s my own damn $$$. The break and run pot hasn’t been able to be built up. So I will only pay out up to $2k (4balls). I could offer the break and run pot at what it actually is (around $35/ball generally), but I feel like it is another perk to my tournaments. Don’t like it? Don’t buy tickets. Or you can buy tickets, get your ticket drawn, make a ball or two or three, and go home with a bunch of extra $$$. Don’t worry, it’ll get built up naturally, but it takes time.
Game Rules
BCA rules - Flip or lag for 1st break
Rack your own, (2 & 3 on the wings). Can’t win/lose on the break (10 spots immediately or re-rack).
VERY IMPORTANT!!! I’ve noticed a growing trend among higher level skill players being cunts and having issues with how other players rack. I’ve also noticed that some players take WAAAAY too long to rack. I’m not going to waste time on racking, people fucking with the 1 ball, etc, etc, etc, and I don’t want players arguing over how others rack. So this is how we are going to deal with it.
You have about 15 seconds to rack. If you don’t like the rack, move some balls around and try again. You get 3X to try for a TOTAL of 60 seconds. If you don’t like your 3rd rack enough to break, come get me and I will assign someone else to rack. Don’t like it, Don’t fucking play.
If you feel that your opponent is being a cunt by pattern racking, fingering the 1, or any other sharking tactics, DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THEM! Instead ask them to pause, and come get me. Explain the situation, and I will monitor appropriately. Don’t like it, Don’t fucking play
Everyone gets a ONE TIME opportunity to call out some BS on another player for racking. If I find that it is wasteful of my time and the tournaments, I will rule that you are being a cunt and I’ll take away a chip. If you call out another player for being a cunt, and I find that they are being a cunt, they will get a chip taken away. If i feel that neither player is being a cunt and it’s just a misunderstanding, we move on like adults. Don’t like it, Don’t fucking play
If I find that both players are being cunts and arguing over a rack, WHEN I SPECIFICALLY SAID NOT TOO, BOTH PLAYERS LOSE A CHIP. Don’t like it, Don’t fucking play

Call non obvious shots! (Ball & Pocket) Situations
If the cue ball goes directly into object ball, and that object ball goes straight into the pocket, then it is obvious, you don’t have to call
If the cue ball hits a rail before contacting the object ball (kick or bank), you must call
If the object ball is being banked, you must call
If the object ball caroms off of another ball, you must call
There is no calling defense
Players Option - If you ILLEGALLY pocket a ball, it becomes your opponents option to shoot or option back to you to shoot (Same as Push)
If you pocket the called ball in the called pocket, it is LEGAL, continue shooting
If you pocket the called ball in the wrong pocket, that is ILLEGAL, opponent’s option
If you pocket a different ball, and the called ball was also pocketed in the called pocket, that is LEGAL, continue shooting
If you pocket a different ball, and the called ball was not pocketed, that is ILLEGAL, opponent’s option

Score Keeping & Speed Violations
Later rounds….I’m tired of chasing people who go off to smoke. You must check with me and the schedule so I can tell you if you have a gap. If you go off to smoke I will call your match, and if you don’t show up within 2 minutes, you lose that game. There are PLANNED breaks for everyone!
For each round there is a schedule posted. Each group of players is responsible for policing each other and keep things moving!!! You know the schedule, so get your bathroom, drinks, cigarette break out of the way. I’m not your mother, if you can’t be an adult, and be on time, you will be DQ’d. Once a game is done, BOTH PLAYERS must mark time finished, circle winner, & initial. The next available match clock STARTS once BOTH players have completed paperwork. Next match has 2 minutes to break or players not ready will forfeit. 10 minutes per game, then 30 second shot clock. If there is another available table, go for it. If there is an available match to play further down the schedule, PLAY IT!
