Format
There will be 1 Captain of each team. The Captains job is to create and organize the team, and collect entry $$$ from their players. The first 4 Captains to fully pay for team will receive 1 extra chip AND a free $$$ Entry. all other captains will receive 1 extra chip
Teams must have a MINIMUM combined Chip Count of 32 for the 5 players
Teams can have subs, as long as the sub is equal or has a higher chip rating.
If a player subs in, they will have the same chip count remaining as the player they subbed in for.
At the start of the match, a ‘Home” team and “Away” team will be established by lag or flip.
For the 1st inning, the “Away” team will set their player order. Then the “Home” team will set their order accordingly.
To start, every inning, a player from each team will play 1 game against 1 player from the other team
Lose a game, lose a chip
Individual players can be eliminated based upon their chip count
There is no maximum amount of times that players can play each other.
Teams will play 2 rounds of games (“Home” and “Away”) vs another team, then move onto next opponent
If there is an unmatched number of players from each team at the START of the inning, the number of games played will be determined by the team with the most players. The team with the least amount of players can play players again. For example, Team A has 5 players, Team B has 3 players. There will be 5 games played, and whichever teams turn to pick the order first selects the player order for 5 games. The team with 3 players will have 2 players playing 2 extra games. They cannot have 1 player playing 3 games, when others are only playing 1. All of the available players on the team must be selected in the order first before a player plays a 2nd game, etc etc.
The full lineup must be set each inning. If a player is eliminated, and was scheduled to play another game in that inning, that game is skipped.
There will be 1 TAG for each inning. Any REMAINING player from your team can TAG in to shoot a single shot,
Can talk to a single designated partner, anytime, anywhere. Only REMAINING PLAYERS can be designated PARTNERS. No other players may approach the table. No other players may speak to the player. Teammates may speak to the partner when player is not shooting. The spirit of this rule is to keep congestion away from the table, and keep multiple voices from slowing play down. There are technically no penalties, except for slow play, and unsportsmanlike behavior….but don’t push it…keep it moving
Auction
Each individual player will be auctioned off just like a normal singles tournament. If one team is eliminated and there are more than 1 remaining players on the team, they will play each for top auction spots.
